Allwyn has designated Andrea Vidler as the incoming Chief Executive Officer for their British division. Her tenure commences officially on the first of October, succeeding Robert Chvatal, the Allwyn Group CEO, who has been provisionally managing the UK branch.
This selection arrives at a critical juncture as Allwyn readies to assume control of the National Lottery license in February 2024. Vidler’s expertise in modernizing entertainment brands for the digital era, cultivated during her leadership at Tag Worldwide and Centaur Media, makes her exceptionally suited to spearhead this fresh phase. Her primary objective? To amplify the generation of funds for charitable endeavors throughout Allwyn’s ten-year administration of the National Lottery.
Allwyn Group’s Chief Executive, Robert Chvatal, affirmed his faith in Andrea’s capabilities. He highlighted her considerable background in brand strategy, content development, and event organization within the current evolving digital environment as key factors making her the perfect fit for heading the UK National Lottery. Chvatal stressed that Andrea would have the complete backing of both the skilled UK-based staff and the wider assets of the Allwyn Group.
Andrea conveyed her excitement, acknowledging the chance to steer a cherished British establishment like the National Lottery towards a fresh chapter. She is keen to work alongside the teams at Allwyn and Camelot to guarantee its ongoing prosperity and beneficial influence on the community.
