This autumn, sports enthusiasts in New Orleans will have a fresh venue to catch the action and lay down wagers. This is due to Caesars Sportsbook unveiling a brand-new sports betting area and poker room at Harrah’s New Orleans.
The new sportsbook is one component of a $325 million revamp of the establishment, which will be rebranded as Caesars New Orleans. The 5,700 square foot sportsbook will boast a 147-foot video display, a cutting-edge audio system, and a secluded viewing suite that can host up to 10 guests.
Adjacent, poker aficionados will discover a new 5,000 square foot poker room furnished with 20 tables.
“The Caesars Sportsbook at Harrah’s New Orleans will provide an opulent setting for sports fans to relish,” remarked Dan Real, Regional President of Caesars Entertainment. “This will be the preeminent sports wagering and viewing location in Southern Louisiana.”
Furthermore, Caesars is currently reconstructing its Lake Charles resort, slated to be renamed Horseshoe Lake Charles, and is constructing a brand-new sportsbook at Horseshoe Bossier City.
This location is going to be buzzing! We’re talking a premier sports wagering area, ideal for the ardent enthusiasts here in Louisiana and all the guests we welcome. And wait a minute, poker aficionados, we haven’t forgotten about you. Live matches, competitions three times a week – Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays – it’s going to be the spot to be seen. We’re striving for the same level of excellence as the World Series of Poker, a brand that needs no introduction. A superior poker room, a driven atmosphere, an opportunity to meet new people and, you never know, maybe even leave victorious! This is about more than just wagers; it’s about what Louisiana embodies – the thrill, the welcoming spirit. We believe in this state and its residents, and this endeavor is evidence of that.”
