Catena Media, an online lead generation firm headquartered in Malta, has named Pia-Lena Olofsson as its new Chief Financial Officer. She succeeds Claes Wenzel, who is resigning for private matters but will remain with the organization until the first quarter of 2018 to guarantee a seamless transition.
Olofsson is well-acquainted with Catena Media, having previously held the position of CFO at their subsidiary, Catena Operations. Her notable background includes positions at Bure Equity AB (publ) and Visma AB, as well as the roles of CFO and Head of Investor Relations at Collector AB, a well-known publicly traded digital bank.
Olofsson earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Gothenburg and an Executive MBA from Warwick Business School.
Henrik Persson Ekdahl, Catena Media’s acting Chief Executive Officer, extended a warm welcome to Olofsson, emphasizing her considerable background as a CFO in major OMX-listed corporations as a significant advantage to the company. He also conveyed his appreciation to Wenzel for his efforts and wished him the best in his future pursuits.
