IGT Extends Michigan Lottery Contract

Global gaming giant International Game Technology (IGT), through its subsidiary IGT Global Solutions, has inked a contract extension with the Michigan Lottery. This agreement will see IGT continue to supply instant lottery games and associated services until the end of December 2021.

IGT has been a key provider of instant lottery games to the Michigan Lottery since 2017, recently introducing titles like “10 Dollar Ruby Mine” and “30 Dollar Ultimate Millions” which have achieved significant popularity in the lottery marketplace.

Beyond instant lottery games, IGT has served as the lottery’s primary technology provider since 1988, offering a range of products and services. These include draw-based systems, retail and self-service lottery terminals, a central data center, retailer training, field support services, field merchandising representatives, and dedicated event teams.

“We are fortunate to collaborate with a diverse group of instant ticket printing partners to develop captivating lottery products that contribute approximately 48% of our overall sales,” stated Glenn Strong, Deputy Commissioner of Marketing for the Michigan Lottery.

“Our collaborative relationship with IGT played a crucial role in enabling the lottery to contribute over $1 billion to Michigan public education for the first time last year.”
