Cosmic Dust Digital Casino, a branch of Boyd Interactive, will collaborate with Playtech to provide Playtech’s digital slots and table games.
Cosmic Dust Digital Casino will offer Playtech’s numerous virtual casino games to patrons in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The collaboration will also encompass live casino games.
The agreement includes Playtech’s well-known games, such as Age of the Gods, Gold Fever: Cash Collect, and Adventures in Wonderland.
Cosmic Dust Launch
Boyd Gaming, a brick-and-mortar casino enterprise, acquired Pala Interactive and its subsidiaries in 2022 for $170 million.
Boyd Gaming subsequently rebranded Pala Interactive to Boyd Interactive and launched its Cosmic Dust Digital Casino in the spring of 2023.
In October, Boyd Gaming reported that its online business was performing well, stating that revenue had increased in the third quarter.
Meanwhile, Marcus Yoder, the head of sales for Playtech in America, expressed the company’s belief that the new partnership will be mutually beneficial.
He stated: “By initiating the thrilling Cosmic Dust Digital Casino, Boyd Gaming is continuing its long-standing tradition of exceeding expectations and delivering distinctive entertainment experiences online.”
Playtech declared that Boyd Gaming’s “stellar reputation makes them a perfect partner for this new expansion phase.”
Playtech is exhibiting robust expansion in the American market, which they view as a critical component of their growth strategy.
In July of 2023, Playtech revealed they would launch live casino game shows in the US, and they intend to establish a dedicated studio in New Jersey, the “Garden State.”
At the close of November, Playtech inaugurated a brand new live casino game studio in Pennsylvania.
Playtech announced record first-half profits in September, driven by strong growth in the US and Latin American markets.
